Meticulous can transform your antique and vintage chairs into something really special. Your chair tells a story, whether it's a family heirloom or a fabulous vintage find. Meticulous is a small business and, owner, Katie will lovingly restore each piece. She loves to work with clients on creative upholstery projects and can often incorporate your vintage fabrics, where possible.
Katie uses the both traditional and modern upholstery and restoration techniques, where appropriate. She has City & Guilds' Diplomas in both Traditional Upholstery and Furniture Making. Her academic background in the History of Art & Design, ensures she will take great care to respect each chair. Katie can help you make design choices that work with your chair's individual style, helping you select fabrics, and advising you on what can be achieved.
